​藝術家簡介

​

高嘉莉生於香港。她以獎學金榮譽畢業於香港公開大學通識學位, 主修心理學。從少熱愛藝術創作，媒介涉獵包括舞蹈、音樂、寫作、繪畫等跨媒體藝術範疇。2011年父親離世，傷痛同時勾起童年時, 被旋渦式海浪拖進海裡的經歷, 引發創傷後遺症, 情緒底谷, 唯獨對繪畫能展露笑容, 最終因而擺脫創傷的黑暗世界。一次歐洲之旅,領悟繪畫藝術如何釋放潛意識感受, 從而投身藝術發展。以繪畫創作展現重生的生命力, 與觀眾共同探索生命的"美"。

INTRODUCTION

Kacey,  Ka Lee Ko is born into 1970s Hong Kong. She graduated with honours and a scholarship award from the Open University of Hong Kong.Passionate in all forms of artistic expression, Kacey has interests in dancing, music, creative writing and more. Her father's death in 2011, triggered memories of her childhood traumas and experience with death, pulling her into an emotional abyss. It was through art and painting that she retrieved her smile and escaped from the world of darkness. Through her visit to Europe, she acquired a heart felt understanding of how art liberates the feelings and emotions of the subconscious. Together with the audience, she seeks to explore and express the lively and sublime moments of life.
